CHURCH QUIET
TO BE DISTURBED
BY SCHOLARS
Chiloquin Has Largest Regis
tration in County Outside
of Klamath Falls
The hushed quiet of a church
during week days will be broken
at Chiloquin this fall, winter and
1 spring by the cheery laughs and
: drowsy hum of public school session.
It all arises from the fact that
Chiloquin has the largest school in
the county outside of Klamath Falls.
, It is so large, in point of registration
that the high school and perhaps
1 several classes in the grade school
will be conducted In the church.

COUNCIL STARTS
STREET PATCHING
MOVE IN MEETING
We want patdaes!
Thus did the council lustily ex
press its opinion, at the oouncil
meeting last night.
With winter tomlng on, the llmo
haj arrived to repair scores of faultj

out. Otherwise moisture plus (hi
pounding of heavy traffic would
widen the holes and make the con

Plumbing company, Joined in tbe
general chorus.
"We want action and in a hur

site on Ninth between Main and
Klamath. Specifically the ordin
ance prohibits parking on the west
side of Ninth street, 70 feet north
from Klamath avenue.
Another ordinance would prohlb-
it tie carrying of signs around tho
public streets.
The Southern Pacific railroad
company, was given permission to
extend Its sewer down Sixth street
