But it appears to the Herald that there : is a certain Waste of public funds to build this portion of this high way and then neglect to improve the : road within . the city limits. .;. ? As.it is at present,, the Shippington road is a public disgrace. Autoists desiring to go to Crater Lake thru Jylamath Falls are compelled to travel over this almost impassable road. It leaves a bad impression with them. Wherever they go they warn other motorists to keep away from Klamath Falls because of the bad condition .
