Santiam Rippies Dear Mr. Editor: It is evident that Mr. Stovall used the Salem newspapers ns I a vent for his anger at not be- I ing rehired as principal of the I high school. In this Salem paper I he claimed it was the Mill City I ixMird that voted him out. Then I liow did Gates board members vote if there was only one vote in his favor? He also claimed it was because of his instigating the reorganization and if they fired him they were killing all chances of the reorganization of being a success. Many at the Salem paper's renders were no taken with Mr. Stovall's lan- guage that they completely ov- er looked a paragraph in that same article which stated AU. Ixzurd members voted approval of the reorganization plans and had scheduled meetings in ixith districts to answer any ques tion« people might have. It was also heard it was the Hoard that went about the "re hiring of Stovall" matter all wrong. Actually it was Mr. Stovall who brought that matter to a head and forced the Hoard to face the issue. Mr. Editor, why do people let their heads get so clouded with steamed-up false accusa tions that they fail to see the real issue. We need reorganiza tion and if we are forced into cleaning house to get it done, then let's not stop here. SUNNIE CHANCE. WEDDING STATIONERY I1ELIOG RAVED’ by th. creator, of Th.
