Ralph Waldo Carter Dies In Bremerton Th«- Rev. Dick Cochran, pas tor of the North Bend Presby terian church, will speak in Mill City Wednesday evening, Febru ary 27. Mr. Cochran has been back in the United State* two year* after serving as a mis sionary to the Middle East for 11 und a half year*. At present he and hi* family serve the church in North Bend. His min- istrdy there has been charact erized by outstandig work among men. Th«- meeting next Wednesday evening in Mill City will be a potluck supper at 6:30 in the Fellowship hall. Interested peo ple in the community are in vited. All families who attend are asked to bring either a hot dish, a salad or a dessert. Mr. Cochran will also speak at a Men’s Breakfast Thursday morning at 6:30 in Fellowship hall. The Women's association will have a coffee hour for Mr. Cochran at 10 a. m. in the home of Mrs. Charles Kelly. Mill City friends have re- ceived word of the death Sunday of Ralph Waldo Carter, former Mill City resident. He had been ill for vime time and passed away in Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton. He was a veteran of World War 1. Service* will be held Satur day at Stone Chapel in Poulsbo, Wash. Survivors include his widow, Floscie Carter of Snuquomish, Wash.
