Out of state guests the past week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Mulligan were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Magneson and two children from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Thomas and three children spent the day at Breitenbush. While the child ren stayed at Hot Springs and enjoy- ed an afternoon swimming in the Breitenbush Lake, through several feet of snow to try their luck fishing. Mrs. Thomas took an unintentional swim in the lake. She reports the water in the lake is “plenty cold”. She does not recommend the lake as a pleasant place to go bathing. They caught three fish. Mr. and Mrs. Don Carey and son of Stayton spent the weekend at the home of Mrs. Carey’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wilson.
