This dessert takes an hour to bake and may be served warm with hard sauce or cold with whipped cream. -Cranberry Delight (Serves 6) l'i cups chopped, impeded apples 1 cup jellied whole cranberry sauce 1 cup rolled oats (quick or old- fashioned, uncooked) * j cup brown sugar *, cup sifted flour 1» teaspoon salt cup melted butter or substitute l/s cup chopped nulmeats Combine apples and cranberry sauce; place in a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Combine rolled oats, sugar, flour and salt. Add but ter, mixing until crumbly. Sprinkle over apple-cranberry mixture. Top with nutmeats. Bake in a moderate (350-degree) oven for one hour. LYNN CHAMBERS' MENU Fish Chowder Tomato-Calavo Salad Cheese Dressing Buttered Toast Beverage •Cranberry Delight •Recipe given Baked Orange Pudding (Serves 6) Sauce: 1 cup sugar l’i cups boiling water 2'j tablespoons cornstarch 3 tablespoons butter 1 orange, grated rind and juice *4 teaspoon salt H teaspoon grated nutmeg Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch. Add boiling water gradually, stir ring constantly, then boil five min utes. Remove from heat, add orange juice and rind. Pour about one-fourth of this mixture into a deep greased pan (8"x8"). Cover with cake mixture given below. Re serve remainder of sauce to pour over pudding when served.
