A walk through the various liopmt ments ot tbe cider and viuegtii mak ing faotory discloses (be faot that ',100 poundj of apples are being eround and pressed out every fifteen minutes of tbe working day of tbe es tablishment and tbe juioe being aoreened, Altered and aterad in vats and tsnks for use as vinegar or being shipped out aa cider, lhe pomace taken from tbe press is also again turned to aooount as it is stored in Urge tanks where it is allowed to fer nient, when it ia sg.dn pressed out and tnrulsbeH a product tbat take but little wotk and time to produoe the purest and beat of vinegar. In all there are tblty two tanks in the building. Tbe company has adopted the plan of shipping out tbeir goods in tbeir own barrels, new ones being provided whenever it is necessary to increase tbe number iu circulation. On tbeir tetuin tbe barrels are soaliled with steam until natei which is pliced in them shows tbat it ia absolutely de void of all aubstanos injurious to the product. In shipping arrangements the admiiable system is put in use of placing the empty barrels in a oar on the side track and tilling Ltnem from tbe vinegar or ciderr tanks by tbe u-e ot a long tiose. In this way 60 to 70 barrels are loaded and tilled in a short time. The demand for cidei and vinegar products particularly which bear tbe liood Kiver Company stamp Is great er than tbe supply aud too possibili ties of tbe business In a nuetcion with other poduots wbiob the com pany baa not seen tit ns yrt tq go into owing to tbe scarcity of In; it, are meat.
