Mrs. Curson informs the Glacier that she has found a remedy for rad ish worm that bas proved successful. It is well known that it is hard to raise radishes here free from worms, and this year just as the young plants were up, she poured a solution of the tobacco leaf dip over the plants, let ting it soak into the grouud. It did net injure the plants iu any way, and as the radishes iittaiued the size for the table, they are sntiely free from tbe pests. So far as we know it is a new experiment, aud bas poved successful. Miss Helen M. Stafford, daughter of Mr. end Mrs. G. W. Stafford, came up from Portland Tuesday morning. Tbe young lady has been spending tbe winter iu different parts of Cali fornia, visiting friends aud relatives.
