Performance Pleases Medford Coach Frank Roe- landt was "pleased with the overall team performance" and quite hopeful for the future. "Now it's a mat ter of jelling and getting a little more threat in there. The mentor was "pretty well pleased with the young kids" on the way they held their own with the "big kids" in the late stages of the action. "It was quite gratifying," he comment ed. He also remarked. "A lot depends on the development of tnree or four big men. If they come through we'll be real tough. The MHS cagers with previ ous varsity participation showed it as the steadying and leader element for the Tornado. "Barnes and Vowell did a real fine job," Roelandt stated. He said that Stockman did a good job and indicated pleasure with the way Bertrand took more ad vantage of his abilities in the second half, particularly in the fourth quarter.
