West Coast Gets Recommendation WASHINGTON (UPI)-A Civil Aeronautics Board examiner recommended Wednesday that West Coast airlines be permit ted to operate non-slop from Spokane to Seattle, and to Port land, Ore. Thomas L. R. Wrcnn, CAB as sociate chief examiner, made the recommendation to the full board in an initial decision. Wrcnn denied a request that West Coast be allowed to sched ule non-stop service from Spo kane to Boise and Salt Lake City. He also denied a request for such service to Salem, Med ford. Sacramento and San Francisco-Oakland. The examiner recommended the extension of two United Air lines routes from Boise to Spo kane. Wrenn said necessary im provement of service between Spokane and Salt Lake Cily and Denver could he provided by ex tension of the routes rather than by making Spokane an in termediate stop between Se attle and Portland. Making Spokane a terminal stop, Warren said, would per mit non-stop service to Salt Lake City and Denver and would eliminate an intermedi ale United Airlines stop at Pen dleton, Ore.
