The bride, the former Miss Susan Kay Kriegcr, is a daughter of Mrs. Leroy Krie- gcr, 328 North Oakdale ave nue, anVMhe late Mr. Kreiger. The bridegroom's parents arc Mr, and Mrs. William Gaines, 2191 Kings highway. The ceremony was per formed August 16 at 8:30 o'clock in the evening by the bridegroom's grandfather, the Rev. James Dole. The bridegroom's parents and a brother and his wife had been married in the sjame church. ,Jake JKrieger, an uncle of the bride, traveled from Chey enne, Wyo., to give her in marriage. About 100 guests attended t he ceremony and the recep tion held in the church annex. Mrs. Larry Sweem served the punch and Mrs. Roy Dcutschman, a cousin of the bridegroom, poured the cof fee. Mrs. Dale Forncrook, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Norman Wilson cut the cake. Assisting the hostesses were Miss Kathy Shroyer, Hay ward, Calif., a cousin of the bride. Miss Elaine Johnson, Central Point, a cousin of the bridegroom, and Mrs. William Staten. Miss Linda Taylor had charge of the guest book. Pink and white gladioli decorated the reception tabic. For her daughter's wedding and reception the bride's mother wore a gallant blue brocade sheath dress with matching hat and the bride groom's mother was dressed in a blue brocade and chiffon frock. Both had corsages of hite cirngtions and pink roeebuds. The bride is the former Miss Julie Townlcy, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Townlcy, ranchers in the this area will be the main topic of discussion at the first fall meeting of the Happy Camp Parent Teacher associa tion September 10 in the Grammar school multi - pur pose room. After a brief business meet ing and introduction of this year's faculty, John Sugdcn, principal of the grade school, will speak on the new classes, the mixed class for fourth, fifth and sixth grade students and the class fdi?'""rt't''aVu"'!i' children. Questions from those who attend will be invited. As a grand finale, Mra. Hazel Davis will show a film she has composed of activities of the eighth grade during the past year. A display of oldtime text books and those used today will be shown. The ceremony took place recently in the new Presby terian church in Ashland, with the Rev. B. J. Holland officiating. Miss Townley at tended school in Little Shas ta, was graduated from Yreka High school and is at present a senior at San Francisco State college.
