The newlyweda spent their i honeymoon In Oregon and ,' will live In Portland where the bridegroom will study at ' the University of Portland. I They will live In Siskiyou j county in the fall. Mr. Wilson J is a teacher in tha Yreka ! schools. ! The bride is daughter of ! Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. ! Brum, Coldwater, Ohio, and i Mr. Bruns escorted his j daughter to the altar. She wore a sheath of Alencon lace i over taffeta with three-quar-: ter length sleeves and scoop neckline. Her flowers were white roses. Honor attendant was Miss Diana Bruns, sister of the bride. She wore an azure blue gown styled similar to that of the bride, and carried white roses. Philip Willcms, Yreka, was best man and ushers were John Collier, Yreka, and Rob ert Wilson, Sunnyvale, Calif. The marriage ceremony was followed by a large re ception at the Yreka Elks club. Among the wedding guests were members of the bridegroom's class of seventh grade pupils. He Is a son of Mrs. J.- Hasbrouch Wilson, San Jose, Calif., and the late Mr. Wilson. Visits Relatives . O. Wall and her three sons, Randy, Greg and Mark, have arrived In Med- ford from Spokane, Wash., to spend several weeks with Mrs. Wall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darell Huson, 45 Llndley street. This week end the Husons are holding a family reunion at their Lake of the Woods summer cottage, In addition to Mrs. Wall and her sons, the family group will include the Huson s daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Brown and children, Diane, Karen and Loren, Medford, and the Huson's daughter, Darelyn. Miss Huson recently re turned home after ending her freshman year at Willamette university, Salem, where she music major. She is a pledge of Delta Gamma sor ority, and a member of Mu Phi, music honor society for women. Mrs. Wall's husband, a cap tain in the United States Air Force, is attending officer school in Alabama this sum mer. He has been assigned to Geigcr Air Force base in Spo kane In recent years, and this base has been recently de activated by the USAF. Stribling-Martin Rites Held in Medford Church Mr. and Mrs. John E. Strib- and la a graduate of Roosevelt Talent Woman Returns Home Talent-Mrs. John Butler re turned home Monday from long visit in California. She was accompanied by her mother, Mrs. .W. L. Carter and her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Marr, Downey, Calif. Mrs. Carter plans to remain here with her daughter for some time. Ma- thewson performed the 7 o'clock evening rites. Miss Linda Strlbllng, Port land, a sister of the bride groom, was the bride a only attendant. ' Kenneth Rhodes, Grants Pass, served as best man. Tony Martin, a brother of the bride, seated the guests. Brother Escorts Bride William Martin, Grants Pass, escorted his sister to the altar and gave her in marriage. The bride wore a white street length dress with full skirt and embroidered bodice A crown of pearla held her fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet centered with a pink peony on netting encircled with florets of blue delphin ium and pink flos-cuculi, a specie of lychnis. Miss Stribling was dressed in a fuchsia pink sheath frock and she carried a pink peony encircled with netting. Baskets of blue delphiniums with pink peonies and maid enhair fern decorated the church. Mrs. Mathewson furnished the organ music. The bride attended Med ford and Grants Pass schools High school, Seattle. The bridegroom served in the Navy for three years after his graduation in 1939 from Grants Pass High school. He Is assistant manager of Laur- entide Finance company, Medford. Other out-of-town guests were the bridegroom's sister, Kathy Stribling; his brother, Roberr Stribling; Mrs. Wil liam Martin and daughter, Juli, all Grants Pass, and Mrs. George L. Smith, Gold Hill, who arranged the bouquets for the bride and her attend ant, and in the church. The bride's mother wore a turquoise blue and white jer sey dress and her corsgae was of yellow rosebuds. The bride groom's mother was dressed in a pink suit and her corsage was a pink peony. Picnic Planned By Herb Society Members of the Rogue Val ley Herb society will hold picnic luncheon and all day meeting Tuesday, June 18 at "Westralia," the country home of Mrs. Stephen F Counts, 619 Jones Creek road, south of Grants Pass. Mrs. Counts will be aided in host ess duties by Mrs. Homer Grable, Grants Pass. The two will serve dessert and an herbed drink to supplement the picnic lunch brought by tne members. Mrs. Counts' extensive lav ender gardens will serve as inspiration for her afternoon lecture on "Lavender through the years." Mrs. Grabel will report on rue, the herb of. the month. Society members will meet at 9 a.m. at the Big Y north of Medford, and will leave from there for the drive to Grants Pass. A workshop is sched uled from 10 o'clock until the luncheon hour. Mrs. R. D. Abel, president, Medford, will preside at the meeting. The May meeting of the so ciety was held at the Girls Community club and featured a review of the book "Old Herbaclous" by Mrs. Frank Carson. Rocambole, as the herb of the month, was dis cussed by Mrs. Otto Nagel Members answered roll call with reports of wild herbs. Annual Twelfth Night Revel Slated at Inn Mon Desir, famed Central Point dining inn, has planned the annual "Twelfth Night Revel" for the Oregon Shake spearean Festival company next Monday evening. Climaxing the grueling au dition, casting and blocking rehearsal period, the "Revel marks the twelfth night since the 1963 Festival company as sembled and the company's first occasion to relax from their arduous schedule. Mrs. Julie Tummers. own er of the inn, will be hostess for the seventh year to about 125 company members as well as an especially honored guest, Carl Werner, Portland. Mr. Werner, representative of the Wine Institute of Cali fornia, has for several years come to southern Oregon for the Twelfth Night Revel. Not only will Festival com pany members enjoy an inter esting meal in a relaxed Euro pean atmosphere, but they Dinner Given In Central Point Central Point The annual fellowship dinner for Jewelt Elementary school teachers was held recently with the Central Point elementary and junior high school teachers as guests. Entertainment was provid ed by the Fishermen Quartet, Mrs. Harold Sanner and Fred Buehling. Mr. and Mrs. George Johns were special guests, and Mr. Johns was presented with a farewell gift. He has been prlnoipal at the Junior high school for the last four years and formerly was principal at Jewett school. He is to leave the Central Point schools for an administrative position in overseas dependents schools of the federal government. Other special guests were Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Anhorn, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ander son, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Russell and C. A. Meyer, j C prorations for the event j were provided by Mrs. An ! horn. Montague Women Entertain Club Montague Mrs. Frank Kouts, assisted by her sister, Mrs. Ernest Williams and Mrs. Allle Moore entertained the Little Shasta bridge club at her home in Montague. The plays are "Merry Wives of Windsor", "Romeo and Ju liet", "Love's Labours Lost", and "Henry the Fifth". The installing officer was the retiring honored queen, Denna Taylor. She was assist ed by the Misses Pat Bre wold, guide; Laurl Beth Buonocore, marshal; Linda Nash, chaplain; Pat Harris, recorder; Camille Eri, senior custodian; Diane Evernham, junior custodian; Charlotte Brown, musician; Judy You mans, lady of lights; Ada Har ris, Bible escort; Charlene Mc cormick, crown escort. The invocation was given by the Rev. Harvey Coovert of the Zion Lutheran church. The Medford chapter. Or der of De Molay, with Wayne Kelsoe, master councilor, took part in the crowning cere mony. Families Introduced The line officers introduced their families, and Miss Mar tin's family was escorted. A younger sister presented the new honored queen with a gavel and her mother gave her the keys to new luggage. Her guide also presented her with a gut. Miss Martin presented past queen Denna Taylor with her past queen's pin and Miss Tay lor presented Miss Martin with a present queen's pin, a traveling tira, and a piece of silver. An addendum was held at which time the new officers gave Miss Martin a term book. Refreshments were served in the dining room and a dance followed, using the theme "A Night to Remem ber." Assisting were Mrs. Sam Poirier, Mrs. Fred L. Walker, Mrs. C. L. Leffler, Mrs. Glenn Wilkins, and Mrs. Carl Elhart.
