Bethel members attended Honored Queen Susan Eastin "go-to-church" Sunday, M8y S. at St. Martin's Episcopa church, Shady Cove. Services were followed by a coffee hour. At the meeting reports were given and plans made to at tend a meeting of Nevlta chapter. Order of Eastern Star, Central Point, on May 14. At that time the bethel exemplified the opening cere mony for the cnapter, ana Central Point Bethel the clos ing ceremony. Plans for grand session to be held in Portland in June were discussed. The Betnei will enter the choir competi tion, and practices are being held at Mrs. J. A. McCorKie s Studio in Shady Cove. But a television camera has been in stalled in the ceiling which carries pictures to a screen in a lounge five floors below. Entries will be accepted until 12 noon, and Judging will begin at 1 p.m. It is ex plained that this type of un official show is held primar ily to train animals and their handlers in show techniques which are necessary for the large, official shows. For the benefit of persons unfamiliar with this type of show, arrangements have been made to have a com mentator accompany the judges as each Individual ani mal is examined and observ ed.
