A "vacation tax map." is sued by the Commerce Clear ing House, shows gas taxes ranging from 5 to 8 cents a gallon. Cigarette taxes, collected in all bill three slates, begin at 2 cents a pack and reach a high of 8 cents. Range of Sales Taxes As for sales taxes, they go from a low of 2 per cent to a lop of 4 per cent. These are stale taxes. In addition, there are the usual federal taxes and, sometimes, overlapping local levies. In the state of Oregon, va cationers are paying 6 cents on gasoline, nothing in sales taxes and nothing on ciga rettes.
