Redmond Tof Dies , From Burgs in Tub 0 Redmond-IUPD -An 8-month, old girl died and her 2-year-old sister -uttered severe burns today while they were in a bathtub. The victim was Carol Ann Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Miller. The older sister, Diana Lynn, suffered burns on her legs. The family said the older girl accidentally turned hot water into the tub. Dellenback Attends Coffee in Medford 'V.'hal You Need, Man, Is a Revolution Like Mine!' (Republicans) San Francisco - WPli - North ern California's construction industry faced the possibility of a complete shutdown today because of deadlocked negoti ations between contractors and four laboring groups. The Northern California Construction Employers as sociation offered a new pack age proposal Wednesday to the 35,000-membcr Laborers Union; but the offer was re jected as "completely unrea listic." Laborers have walked off $370 million work of key con struction jobs in 46 Northern California counties in the past 10 days, idling about 12,000 workers. Their contract ex pired May 1. The contracts of three other unions - carpenters, cement masons and construction team sters - expired at the tame time. These three unions have been observing laborers pick et lines, but have not called walkouts of their own. Contractors have threaten ed to close down the entire $3.5 billion industry, on grounds that a strike against one is a strike against all, unless an agreement is reached. John Dellenback, state rep resentative from Jackson county, was guest at a coffee at the home of Mrs. John As plund, 1456 Jasper St., Med ford, this week. Dellenback is a candidate for reelection on t h 0 Republican ticket. A group of women was present t discuss legislative affairs with him. Dellenback was asked about ' county home rule, and he re viewed the sequence of ac tions leading up to the charter which will be on the ballot May 18. Dellenback emphasized that it is inaccurate to consider the charter from a partisan view point. Glenn was to take part in a panel discussion at the con ference, now in Its second day at the Opera House on the Seattle World's Fair Grounds.
