Rogue River Club To Hold Flower Show Rogue River-The 14th an nual judged flower show of the Rogue River Garden club will be held Saturday, May 6, at the Live Oak Grange hall from 1 to 8 p.m. The snack bar and plant sale will open at 11 a.m. A silver tea will be held during the show. The admission is free. ; Three Present For Graduation Mr. and Mrs. Fred Landers, 840 Marshall avenue, drove to Portland Friday to attend the graduation of their son, Ned, from Western Conserva tive Baptist Theological sem inary. Governor Mark Hatfield, who is on the board of trus tees of the seminary, deliv ered the main address. Young Landers received the bachelor of divinity degree. His broth er, Ted, was graduated from the seminary last year with a degree in Christian educa tion, and is director of Chris tian : education in the Bur- lingame Baptist church, Port land. Ned Landers is work ing as minister of youth in the First Baptist church, Mil waukie, Ore. Mrs. Edward Stauffer, wife of the pastor of the First Baptist church in Medford, is in Portland also for this graduation event. Mrs. Rankin made the trip in order to attend the first communion of her grand daughter, Susan McDonald, in the Paradise Catholic church. Last week Mrs. Rankin was in Salem to attend a meeting of the community services committee of the Oregon Council on Aging. She is a member of the committee.
