Landers received the bachelor
of divinity degree. His broth
er, Ted, was graduated from
the seminary last year with
a degree in Christian educa
tion, and is director of Chris
tian : education in the Bur-
lingame Baptist church, Port
land. Ned Landers is work
ing as minister of youth in
the First Baptist church, Mil
waukie, Ore.

a guest of her son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce
McDonald. Mrs. Rankin made
the trip in order to attend the
first communion of her grand
daughter, Susan McDonald, in
the Paradise Catholic church.
Last week Mrs. Rankin was
in Salem to attend a meeting
of the community services
committee of the Oregon
Council on Aging. She is a
