The Rev. Dick Woodworth, pastor of the Coquille church, will act as master of ceremonies. He is the Southern Oregon Youth director. Evangelist John Timmcr man will be the main speaker for the evening. The church officers were elected recently. They include Frank Wallace, Loyd Rasmus sen, Ralph Turner and James Trimble, council; George Ma rine and Wilmcr Greeley Sr., deacons; and Mrs. Emma Clut ter and Mrs. Marine, deacon- s. Mrs. Loyd Rassmussen, su perintendent of the Sunday school has announced that Feb. 12, is missionary Sunday. Each missionary Sunday a dif ferent part of the world is featured. This Sunday the light will be taken to the Philippine Islands. The theme for the missionary Sundays is known as, "Light for a Dark ening Hour." The junior and senior choirs will assist the congregation in the worship service at 11 a.m with the Rev. R. H. Mathew- son speaking. Scout Sunday At Ascension Lutheran Scoutmaster Richard Melum will speak on the ideals and methods of Scouting Sunday during the 11 a.m. worship service at Ascension Lutheran church, 2501 Barnett rd.
