The total number of dogs picked up from Aug. 31 through Nov. 8 was 397, he added. On Nov. 23, Hagler said he turned in a list of 11 names of persons liable for $10 fines for allowing their dogs to run at large. For the month, dogs picked up totalled 81 and 72 dogs were brought in to the dog pound. New homes were found for 15 dogs, dog owners pick ed up 21 and 99 dogs were destroyed. Cats destroyed to talled 47. Lost dogs reported totalled 27. Hagler reported the depart ment answered 182 complaints for the month. The pound fees totalled $168.65 for the month. Total money included in the dog control fund from dog licenses and pound fees totalled $312. 85. Balance in the dog control fund as of Dec. 2 was $2,884.- 10. GUARD.
