Other groups ac tively involved in the city-wide promotion (Knackstedt Photo) Dave Beck Wins Rehearing Fight Olympia - (IPI) - Dave Beck Friday won his fight for a rehearing by the Washington State Supreme Court of an appeal from his 1957 grand larceny conviction. The court granted a petition by the retired Teamsters pres ident and set June 14 as the date for re-argument. The order gave no reason for granting the rehearing bjt apparently the only question considered was Beck's conten tion that a trial court judg ment of a criminal case can not be upheld when an appel late court is equally divided. A King County Superior Court judgment that Beck, 65, pocketed SI, 900 from sale of a union - owned automobile was affirmed last February by the State Supreme Court.
