Thursday, Jan. 21, 1960 B5 Medford Teacher Is Attending Institute Tempe, Ariz.-Lester Hutch inson, of Medford, is partici pating in an "Academic Year Institute for High School Teachers of Science and Math ematics" at Arizona State un iversity, Tempe. The institute is supported by the National Science Foundation. A teacher of mathematici and general science at Mc Loughlin Junior High school, Hutchinson was chosen to par ticipate on the basis of his professional competence and his capacity to develop as a teacher, according to Dr. Alan T. Wager, chairman of the ASU department of physics and astronomy. The 50 participants in the program are taking full loads in science or mathemat ics either for a certificate of completion or for a master's degree in one of the four reg ular science graduate programs.
