MAIL TRIBUNE, Medford', Or. Sunday, Jan. 3, 1960 .Adams-Collis Ceremony Held Central Point - Miss Winni fred Doris Collis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Black, 209 West Main street, Jacksonville, became the bride of Danial Earl Adams in a ceremony Monday, De cember 28, at the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Adams, 2871 Beall lane, Central Point. The Rev. H. Patterson of the Pentecostal Church of God, Central Point, officiated: The bride wore a lavender dress which had been her mother's wedding gown. Her accessories were white. She attended Medford High school and the bridegroom at tended Crater high school. A small group of relatives and friends were present for the ceremony. A reception followed. Reunion Held AtRedpaths Four sisters and a brother met in Medford last week at the home of Mrs. Burrell Red path, one of the sisters, and her husband, 700 North Mo doc avenue, for their first Christmas together in 43 years. Entertained by Mrs. Red path and her husband were her sisters, Mrs. W. R. Loos ley, Ft. Klamath, Ore., Mrs. Bert Tolladay, Prineville, Ore., and Mrs. Turner Arm strong, Citrus Heights, Calif., and her brother, Roscoe Rob erts, Medford. Mr. Tolladay and Mrs. Roberts were also present. - Mr. and Mrs. Tolladay de parted for home Sunday, De cember 27, and Mrs. Arm strong left by plane Tuesday, December 29. Mrs. Loosley plans to remain with her sister and brother-in-law until January 4. Lopez in a cere mony held December 26 at First Methodist church. Dr. George G. Roseberry officiat ed at the four o'clock after noon wedding attended by 150 relatives and friends. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. John Chisholm, Elm street, and Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Lopez, El Paso, Texas, are the bridegroom's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Newland, Med ford, substituted for the par ents of the bridegroom who were unable to attend. Miss Sue Donna Doolen played the organ wedding music for the double ring cere mony and accompanied Miss Rosemary Doolen, soloist. Christmas evergreens and poinsettias decorated the church. The bride wore a floor length gown of lace and tulle ! fashioned with fitted lace bodice and full skirt of alter nating tiers of lace and net. Her fingertip length veil was held by a jeweled headdess and she carried a sunburst bouquet of baby white roses encircling a white orchid. Claude C. Haggard, friend of the family, gave the bride in marriage. Miss Barbara Davis, Stay ton, Ore., was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Carole McFarland, Salem, both Delta Delta Delta soror ity sisters of the bride, and Miss Gloria Haggard. Little Linn Swaser was flower girl. They wore Christmas red vel v e t e e n sheath frocks with matching net veils and car ried arm bouquets of white chrysanthemums. Seating the guests were Fred Ben nion, Corvallis, Robert Fry, both fraternity brothers of the bridegroom; William E. French, and John Godlove David Compton was rmg bearer. For her daughter's wedding and reception which followed at the church Mrs. Chisholm wore a black velvet sheath frock with white floral trim and matching accessories. Mrs. Newland chose a navy blue sheer dress with matching ac cessories. Their corsages were gardenias. Mrs. William French cut and served the wedding cake and Mrs. David Byers presid ed at the punch bowl. Miss Jeanne Davis, Stayton, poured the coffee. Miss Mitzi Parson and Miss Vicki Robertson were in charge of the guest book and Miss Shiela Spence and 'Miss Karen Culbertson were at the gift table. The couple will return to day from a wedding trip to San Francisco and Reno. They will make their home at 1230 SE Morrison avenue, apart ment 504, Portland. For trav eling the bride wore a black basket weave wool suit with black satin trim. Her coat was red and she wore black and red accessories. The bride attended Med for High school and was a stu dent at Oregon State college where she is affiliated with Delta Delta Delta sorority. Mr. Lopez attended Southern Oregon college and is a jun ior at the University of Ore gon Dental school in Port land. He is a member of Delta Sigma Delta, profes sional fraternity. Among the out of town guests attending the wedding and reception were Mr. and Mrs. John D. Davis and Miss Barbara Davis, Stayton; Mrs. Lee Bennett, Portland; Mrs. Virginia Brown, Long Beach, Calif., and Gerald Ma gee, Portland. 4 Bridal Shower1 In Central Point Is Recent Event " Central Point - A bridal shower honoring Miss Betty Woods was given recently at the home of Mrs. Ronald Chandler. Assisting Mrs. Chandler as hostess was Miss Nancy Schwebs of Central Point. Decorations were in the Christmas motif. Attending were Mrs. Ira Brock, Miss Louise Scalberg, Miss Karen Hawley, Miss Wanda Woods, Miss Bonney T u 1 1 e y, and Miss Suzanne Hall. Miss Woods is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boaz Salmans and is a student of Crate High school. She is the bride elect of Gene McCause, Red Bluff, Calif. Airs. Mary Payton Hostess for Dinner Mrs. Mary Payton was hos- J tess for a recent party at her home on Peach street. The rooms were decorated with colorful ornaments and greenery tinted in silver and gold. The buffet dinner was served at one o'clock to Mrs. William Sweet, Mrs. Lydia Goff, Mrs. Reimer Peterson, Mrs. C. O. Lack, Mrs. William Naylor, Mrs. Richard Garrett, Mrs. H. W. Wright.' Mrs. C. F. Gordon and the hostess, College Students at Home In Utah Following Rites Here The wedding of Miss Mar- liene Margaret Miller and Wayne Ham was held Christ mas Eve at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Lat ter Day Saints. James David son, assisted by Delwood Bag- ley, head resident of Gunsol- ley hall, Graceland college, Lamoni, Iowa, officiated at the double ring rites. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Isabelle H. Miller, 2252 Fowler road, and the late De Wayne L. Miller. Mr. Ham's parents are Mr. and Mrs. A. Ham, Toronto, Ontario, Cana da. John Williams, Graceland college, played the organ wed ding music and accompanied the congregational singing. More than 50 relatives and friends attended the 5:30 o'clock afternoon ceremony. Evergreen boughs, poinset tias, and candles decorated the church for the wedding. The bride wore a white bal lerina length nylon chiffon frock with shoulder length veil. She carried a bouquet of red and white peppermint car nations. Seating the guests were Darrell Miller, brother of the bride, and Roy Ross. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church annex given by mem bers of the ReLaDaSa Wo men's group. The bride formerly was em ployed by Mann's and Sacred Heart hospital here. She at tended Graceland college and is a student in the college of education at Brigham Young university, Provo, Utah. Mr. Ham attended Humberside Collegiate in Canada, Grace land college, and is now doing graduate work in modern and Biblical languages at Brigham Young university.
