Yule Trimmings Brighten Homes New York -CPI- Bright new decorations can lend a touch of beauty to a home at Christ mas time. The decorations splashed with color, sequins, and gold reflect a wide assortment of religious and holiday themes. Among the most unusual and useful is a gleaming, gold-and-white train of antique de sign. Good, 1910 Sunset drive, Medford, will be honored during activities leading to the commissioning of class 59-D members on December 18 at the Air Force Officer Candidate School, Lackland Air Force base, Texas. Miss Cameron is one of the six WAF members of the class and was a squadron officer. She was recently selected as first attendant to the queen of the class. The queen and her two attendants will serve as honorary reviewing officers at a school parade, preside at a reception, and reign at the . class graduation ' ball. Miss Cameron joined the Air Force last June and attended Medford High school and Southern Oregon college. , Fifty Plus ClubsTo Hold Party Medford and Camp White Fifty Plus clubs will hold their annual Christmas party Wednesday for members at Camp White in the Bridge club building 246, Wednesday, December 16, at 1 pan. The V.A. bus will pick up members at St. Mark's guild hall at 12:20 p.m. and at the Activity center, Jackson street, at 12:30. p.m. Each woman is to take a woman's gift' to exchange with another woman and men are to take a gift to exchange with another man. Medford Fifty Plus club will furnish pies and their or chestra will open the program. The Camp White orchestra will play for dancing. Santa's wife will accom pany him to assist with the distribution of gifts. Histofic Lodge Installs Jacksonville - The 104th election and installation of of ficers in the history of War ren lodge, AF&AM, was held Wednesday, Dec. 9, in ,the Odd Fellows hall. First officers of the lodge were elected before Oregon became a state, and when Jacksonville was the largest community in southern Ore gon. Elected to serve during the coming year were. Virgil Wilkes, worthy master; Gail Buffington, senior 'warden; George Redhead, junior war den; Donald Lue, treasurer; Roger Westerfield, secretary; Donald Shores, senior deacon; Clarence Williams, junior deaconj Donald Hanning, sen ior steward; Roy Picard, jun ior steward; Cyril Farns worth, tyler; William Barker, chaplain; Fred M. Gardner, Jr., marshal; and J. E. Craw ford, publicity. ' Edwin Taylor was Install ing master; John Pond, in stalling marshal; and Glenn Smith, installing chaplain. All are past masters. Child to Receive Gift From Group "A Gift for Danny" was fea tured at the Christmas party of the Medford Lions auxil iary held at the home of Mrs. Lee Mellish, Wednesday, De cember 9. Each member con tributed toward a gift for the club's adopted blind child, Danny Hakkila. Guest of the evening, Mrs. D .M. Dwyer, District E area director, presented the club with several storybook dolls to be used in the annual toy and" doll project of the group.
