Og den, 301 North Columbus ave nue, announce the engage ment of their daughter, Judy, to William Welch, son of Mrs. Hilda Welsh, Cargill court. Miss Ogden is a graduate of Medford High school and is a sophomore at Southern Oregon college majoring in elementary education. Mr. Welch is a graduate of Ash land High school and is a senior majoring in history and social science in the school of secondary education at Southern Oregon college. He is a member of Theta Delta Phi, men's honor society. A June wedding is planned. Gossman-Allen Ceremony Held at Christian Church Central Point-Miss Patricia Lucille Allen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Allen, 6079 Table Rock road, became the bride of Warren Charles Goss man, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Gossman, Los Angeles, in a ceremony held November 18 at First Christian church. The Rev. William C. Piper officiated at the double ring rites which were held on the 18th wedding anniversary of tne bride's parents. More than 125 relatives and friends at tended. Mrs. H. M. Cecil, Ash land, played the organ wed ding music and white and yellow chrysanthemums and white candles decorated the church. The bride wore a white tulle gown over white slipper satin. The bodice was styled with lace yoke and leg-of-mutton sleeves and the full skirt, appliqued with Chan tilly lace medallions embroid ered with seed pearls and rhinestones, ended in 'a short train. Her fingertip length veil was held by a lace cap and she carried a nosegay bouquet of white and pepper mint colored carnations. Mr. Allen gave his daughter in marriage. Mrs. Michael B. Hayes served as matron of honor. She wore a shrimp colored nylon lace frock with silver accessories and carried a nose gay bouquet of White carna tions. Miss Janice Linker was bridesmaid. Her frock was pink embroidered nylon or ganza over- taffeta and she carried a nosegay bouquet of pink carnations. Little Lanie Asher was flower girl. William Allen, brother of the bride, was ring bearer and lighting the candles were Ken neth Stewart and Roger Schroeder. William Gossman, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Michael B. Hayes was groomsman and seating the guests were Leonard Lem ons Jr. and David Johnson, cousins of the bride, and James Matchet. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Allen wore a navy blue lace dress with pink accessor ies and pink carnation cor sage.' Following the wedding a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Hayes on Dark Hollow road. Yellow and white chrysanthe mums decorated the rooms for the event. Assisting with the reception were Miss Ruth Day, Miss Arlene McGowan, Miss Sandy Davis, Miss Deanna Doty, Miss Patty Gossman, niece of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Ray Gossman, aunt ofl the bridegroom. The couple traveled to Ta coma, Wash., on their wed ding trip where they are mak ing their hornet For traveling the bride wore a grey wool jacket dress and red accessor ies. The bride attended Crater High school. The bridegroom attended schools in southern California and is now a pri vate first class in the U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Lewis. Mist Joyce Gilinsky Enagement of Medford Couple Told at Party Announcement of the en gagement of Miss Joyce Gilin sky to Robert Charles Glover was made November 28 at a party at the. home of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Daugherty, Miss GUinsky's grandparents. Miss Gilinsky is the daugh ter of Mrs. Leona Gilinsky, Cargill court. Mr. Glover's parents are Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Glover, 1162 Janes road. Guests at the party were presented white wicker bells which contained the announce ment of the engagement. A bell hung above the serving table was tied with white sat in streamers. Mrs. S. P. Doty, aunt of the bride-elect, poured the cof fee and Mrs. Gilinsky presid ed at the punch bowl. David Doty, cousin of Miss Gilinsky, was in charge of the guest book. Miss Gilinsky and Mr. Glover are graduates of Med ford High school. Mr. Glover is a student at Oregon Tech nical institute, Klamath Falls, Miss Gilinsky Is employed by the U. S. National bank, Med ford branch. She is a member of Olive Rebekah lodge and Omicron Theta Rho Girls club of Medford. I No date has been set for the wedding. Returns Mrs. Julia Vakoc, 519 South Riverside avenue, re turned to her home Thursday after spending two weeks in Santa Maria, Calif., visiting her grandchildren and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Vakoc and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Warren.
