Ashland Gardeners Apply For National Show Award division of 63 entries was staged in the corridor of the school. It was augmented by dahlia displays of Mrs. Roscoe Applegate and Ben Hart of Blue Spruce nursery.' Also in the corridor was a display of 15 new roses and five arrangements of Medford Rose 'society, which : was planned "by Mr. and Mrs. Ran ald Axtell, Trail, and Dr. and MrsjfL. G. Gentner, Medford. ; MrsR. D. Lamb won the sweepstakes award in the hor ticulture division with1 eight blue ribbons and Mrs. Bay won the arrangement sweep stakes with three blue ribbons. Special decorative features at the how included a rock and gem display and a patio which was bordered with potted ferns and small shrubs. Among those who poured were Mrs.' A. O. Floyd, Med ford, past president of the Ore gon Federation, and Mrs R. T. Nichol, Siskiyou ' district director. ... A total of 420 signed the guest book.
