He is a on of Mrs. John Murphy, Hood River, and the late Mr. Murphy. Miss Addington, a graduate of Crater High school, attend ed Bob Jones university, Greenville, S. C, and was graduated from Southern Ore gon college in 1959. She is a member of Sigma Epsilon Pi, women's national Point junior high school this fall. Mr. Murphy was graduated from Hood River High school and Oregon State college, whete he was a member of Delta Chi fraternity. He 'was commissioned a second lieu tenant in the United States army reserve after completing Reserve Officers Training corps course. He also is a teacher at the Central Point school. Carol Ann Coghill W d To Monty Sherman IV my Ashland - Miss Carol Ann Coghill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Coghill, 214 Gib son street, Talent, became the bride of Monty Sherman Wray in rites held Sunday, July 12, at the First Christian church. . The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. O. 'R. Wray, 869 Garden way, Ashland. The double-ring ceremony was performed at 3:30 o'clock by the Rev. James Sinclair before approximately 175 guests. Mr. Coghill gave his daugh ter in marriage. She wore a gown of white Chantilly lace over white satin, designed with a sweetheart neckline and long-sleeved bodice. The finger-tip veil of white net was held in place with a tiara of seed pearls. She also wore a" necklace of pearls, gift of the bride groom. Mrs. Jack Barrett, Talent, sister of the bride, was ma tron of honor. Mrs. Don Cog hill, Talent, sister-in-law of the bride, and Mrs. Jim Mc Abee, Ashland, were brides matrons. They wore ballerina-length gowns of white lace over ice blue taffeta and carried bou quets of white daisies. Their hats were circlets of net. . Debbie Goghill, niece of the bride, who was flower girl, wore a matching white lace over blue gown and carried a basket of white daisies. LeRoy Moore, Eugene, was best man. Ushers were Donald Coghill, brother of the bride, and Charles Bonds, Ashland, brother-in-law of the bride groom. , ' Mrs. Bonds was at the guest book. Organ music was play ed by Mrs. Sinclair and the Rev. Mr. Sinclair sang. The bride's parents were hosts for the reception which followed at the home of the bridegroom's parents. Mrs. Chester Ricks, Central Point, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Everett Taylor, Talent, served the cake, which was made by Mrs. Leon Lockwood, Talent. Flowers on the punch table were white gladioli and pink roses. Mrs. Lester Mason, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Devon .Wray, aunt of the bridegroom, both of Medford, served punch. . Assisting with the gifts were Mrs. Earl Sommer, Tal ent, and Mrs. Lester Zimmer lee, Ashland. ' For the event the bride's mother wore a sheath dress of light blue with white ac cessories and a white carna tion corsage. The bridegroom's mother wore a pale pink sheath dress with white a cessories and white carna: tions. The young couple traveled to Lake Tahoe for their wed ding trip and will reside at 1036 West 13th street, Med ford, on "their return. For traveling the bride wore a white lace dress of sheath de sign She is a graduate of Talent High school and is employed by the California - Oregon Power company. ' The bridegroom, a gradu ate of Ashland High school and Southern Oregon college, is employed by the Jay Allen company. 1 Delphos, Kan. -(DPD-Ninety- three-year-old Mrs. Martha Reichard has made 18 quilt tops in the past year, using the old-fashioned treadle-type sewing machine. Miss Jones , is a graduate of Crater High school and is presently employed by the Valley Drive-in theatre. Mr. Beerli has attended school in both Alaska and Glendale, Ore. Bishop Dwaine Nelson of thP Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiated at the seven o'clock evening wedding, attended by 50 rela tives and friends. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white chiffon over satin designed in waltz length with neckline drapery whicn iorm- ed a short train. Her shoulder leneth veil was held Dy Dearl and lace headband and her bouquet was of white car nations and gardenias. Miss Barbara Miller attend ed her sister. She wore a pink wait lensth chiffon frock with pink accessories and car wen" blue and white carna tions. Sharon Bross, sister of the bridegroom, was flower girl. She wore an aquamarine blue dress with lace trim and a pink floral headdress. She carried a basket of pink roses. ! Gerald Bross served as best man for his brother. Seating the guests were Grant Quin neyJr., cousin of the bride groom, and Tedd Bross, broth er of the bridegroom. Douglas Stewart played the piano wedding music. The ceremony was held in front of the fireplace which was decorated with tall baskets of white gladiolus and pink and blue asters with fern and baby breath. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Miller chose a rose col ored sheath dress with white accessories. Her corsage was of white and pink carnations. Mrs. Bross wore a blue floral pink chiffon dress, iier cor sage was of white and yellow carnations. Following the wedding a rppention was held at tne Bross home. Mrs. Byron Davis cut and served the wedding cake and Miss Barbara Staf ford presided at the punch bowl. Arrangements of sweet peas decorated the dining room for the event. The couple traveled to San Francisco on their wedding trip. The bride wore ior trav eling a pink eyelet dress with pink feather hat and wnixe accessories. They will make their home at 1641 Kings Highway after July 20. The bride is a graduate of Medford Hieh school. Mr. Bross is also a graduate of Medford High school and at tended Bngham Young urn- versitv. Provo.- Utah. He is in the construction business with his father. , . .
