Students Qualify As Candidates Eugene-Two Medford men now attending the University of Oregon have qualified as candidates for positions in the Associated Students of the University of Oregon student senate. They are Frank Al bert, a candidate for senator-at-large, and Michael Stearns, a candidate for off-campus single students representative. Boi Albert and Stearns received a sufficient number of votes in the all-campus primary election to have their names placed on the general election ballot. Albert,1 a freshman major in liberal arts, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Albert, 304 South Peach st. He is currently serving as president of the freshman class. Stearns, a freshman in journalism, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Stearns, 3547 Delta Waters rd.
