Dixon's car was stolen here more - than two weeks ago. . Dixon learned Thursday from a friend that police had the vehfcle stored in a ga rage. Turned out officers had found it abandoned the same day it was stolen. Trouble was, police failed to notify Dixon. And when he went to pick up the car, of ficers wouldn't release it until he had paid for 17 days' storage. "I was too glad to get the car back to argue," Dixon said.
