Benson, N.C. - OIPD - It was
a case of quick action but
poor communication.
C. L. Dixon's car was stolen

Dixon learned Thursday
from a friend that police had

Trouble was, police failed
to notify Dixon. And when he
went to pick up the car, of
ficers wouldn't release it until
he had paid for 17 days'

"I was too glad to get the
car back to argue," Dixon
said.
