McFALL Eagle Point The Eagle Point elementary school PTA will meet Tuesday, April 22, in the grade school cafeteria. The Eagle Point grade school band will furnish entertain ment. . The elementary school PTA executive meeting was held Monday, April 14, in the teacher's dining room. Mrs. LeRoy Bedingfield, representative for the elemen tary PTA, and Mrs. Charles McClure and Miss Beverly Tresham will represent the Eagle Point PTSA at the Ore gon Congress of Parents, Teachers convention at Bend, Ore., April 21, 22 and 23. The Eagle Point Grade School band motored to Sha dy Cove and Butte Falls Wed- ( nesday, April 9, to present concerts for the two schools. 1 Keith Krambeal, instructor, drove the school bus for the group. i On Friday, April 18, from , 7:30 to 10 p.m. there will be a party for the students from ! fifth through the eighth grade j at the grade school gym. The j party is sponsored by the stu dent body with adult supervi sion of parents and teachers from each room. A bridal shower was held at the home of C. S. Griffin, on Nick Young road in honor of Miss Carol Wyatt, daughter of Mrs. Ruby Wyatt, Central Point, and the bride-elect of Jerry Cave, who is stationed at Fairchild Airforce base in Washington. Jerry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Cave, Eagle Point. The theme of the shower was a bridal set, with the bridal dolls of Miss Wyatt and the bridal group, Misses Lois and Sandy Farlow. The dolls have been the theme at May bridal showers in Eagle Point. Those attending were the honored guest Miss Wyatt, Mrs. Mark Hoefft, Mrs. Mike Kaiser, Mrs. Murry Bartling, Miss Mary Bartling, Mrs. J. L. Davidson, Mrs. Joe Arens, Mrs. Glenn Hale, Mrs. Victor Hay, Mrs. Kenneth Porter, Mrs. Jake Olsen, Mrs. Ray TFesham, Mrs. Edward R. The Eagle Point Communi ty Bible church missionary group has been asked to join the Lake Creek Sunday school women at a potluck dinner at the Lake Creek com munity hall Thursday, April 17. The regular business meet ing and Bible study will fol low in the afternoon. Anyone in need of transportation may contact Mrs. Bennie Hefly, Hlllcrest 6-3575. Residents are reminded that the dogs in Eagle Point are to be kept tied during the months of April, May and June. The owners will be sub ject to a fine if the dogs are impounded by the county dog catcher. Two SOC Students To Attend Session Ashland Delbert Chausse and Bill Isaacs, Southern Ore gon college students, have been selected as delegates to attend the eighth session of the model United Nations on the University of Washington ' campus. The men will represent Spain at the meeting. Dr. Clif ford Miller, International Re lations club advisor, will ac company the group. Other students who will attend the meeting are Nancy Norbury, David Dickerson, David Bowdoin, Myrtle Con verse, John Converse and Carolyn Crowley.
