FOUR MEDFORD (OREGON) MAIL TRIBUNE Sunday, December 29, 1957 Lacy Named Head For Lodge Don Lacy, faculty member at Crater High school, was elected chancellor commander of Med ford Knights of Pythias at a re cent meeting. Olaf Ohrman was re-elected vice-chancellor; Daniel Kadin, prelate; James P. O'Duane, mas ter of work; Ed Bostwick, secre tary; Ora E. G. Myers, financial secretary; J. Baker Yarbrough, treasurer; LeRoy F. Cline, mas ter at arms; Roland G. Beach, inner guard; Earl Locke, outer guard; and Joe W. Fritsch, pub licity chairman. Trustees are O'Duane, three years; Bostwick, two years; and Walter W. Ferguson of Central Point, one year. The rank of Esquire was con ferred upon a class of pages last Monday by the Knights of Pyth ias and the rank of Knight is icheduled for January 6. The group approved a check for mem bership in the Medf ord high band booster club. The annual Christmas party of . the Knights of Pythias and Pyth 'ian Sisters was held Dec. 23. I Eighty adults and children at- ! tended the event which began I with a potluck dinner followed by a program of carol singing. Ed" Mann portrayed Santa Claus and distributed candy and apples to the children, including the Pythian Sunshine Girls and Boy Scout troop 16 who were special guests. Mrs. Bostwick was in charge of the program. Joint installation of the 1958 officers of the Knights and Pythian Sisters is tentatively set for Monday, January 13, with District Deputy Grand Chancel lor Ray Newman, Grants Pass, as installing officer for the men and Past Chiefs Hazel Anderson and Isobel Thomas of Ashland for the women's group. A meeting of the Knights of Pythias will be held Monday at 8 p.m. in the Pythian building. George Fisk and Baker Yar brough are in charge of the cof fee and social hour. Bigham Bigham-Hansen Wedding Held at Church of Christ Central Church of Christ was the setting Saturday, De cember 21, for the seven o'clock evening wedding of Miss Ellen Elizabeth Hansen and David W. Bigham. The bride is a daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Han sen, route 3, box 86C1, Medford. Mr. Bigham is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Bigham, 122 Big ham drive, Central Point. John Bigham of the Church of Christ, Crescent City, Calif,, officiated at the ceremony at tended by more than 100 rela tives ( and friends. Mr. Bigham is a brother of the bridegroom. John Hansen, brother of the bride, and George Caldwell, San Jose, were soloists. Miss Melody Pierce played the piano wedding music. Holly, greenery and can delabra decorated the church for the ceremony. Given in marrige by her fath er, the bride wore a white slip per satin gown trimmed with lace and her white veil fell from a beaded crown. She carried a gardenia corsage on a white Bible. Mrs. Albert Versic, Eureka, Calif., was honor attendant for her sister. Other attendants were Miss Kathyrn Wood and Mrs. John Bigham, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, Crescent City. Mrs. Versic wore a blue frock and carried pink carnations. The at tendants wore frocks of yellow and lavender and both carried white carnations. Little Lynn Versic was flower girl for her aunt and David Versic was ring bearer. Larry Bigham, who was home on leave from the U. S. Air Force stationed in Mississippi, served as best man for his broth er. Kenneth Bigham, cousin of the bridegroom, Sams Valley, and John Hasen, brother of the bride, seated the guests. Following the ceremony a re ception was held at the church. Miss Beverly Beck cut and served the wedding cake and Miss Charlene Schrader presided at the punch bowl. Miss Jane Saunders was in charge of the guest book. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Hansen wore a grey gab ardine dress with white acces sories. Mrs. Bigham chose a pink knit suit with black accessories. They both had white carnation corsages. The couple will make their home in San Jose, Calif., follow ing a wedding trip to the coast. For her traveling attire the bride chose a peacock blue suit with white accessories. The bride is a graduate of Medford High school. The bride groom is a graduate of Crater High school. Kaiser-Goode Ceremony Held At Eagle Point Bible Church Eagle Point Eagle Point Community Bible church was the, setting Saturday, December 21, for the seven o'clock even ing wedding of Miss Patricia Anne Goode and Michael James Kaiser. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Goode, Shady Cove. Mr. Kaiser is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kaiser, Eagle Point. The Rev. Joseph Munshaw of ficiated at the double-ring can dlelight ceremony attended by 150 relatives and friends. Bas kets of yellow and white chry santhemums and greenery decor ated the church for the wedding. Yellow and white satin bows marked the pews. Decorations were by Mrs. William Shepherd and Mrs. Floyd Kelley. Mrs. Munshaw played the traditional organ wedding music and Mrs. Darwin Bevens, aunt of the bride, Prospect, was soloist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white Chantilly lace over taffeta frock fashioned with tiered waltz length skirt and matching bolero. Her veil was fingertip length and she carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds and white lily-of-the-valley. Miss Patti Clave was honor at tendant and bridesmaids were Actors Married In Arizona Rites Phoenix, Ariz. HP) Movie stars Natalie Wood and Robert Wanger Jr. were married Satur day in nearby Scottsdale in cere monies attended only by mem bers of the couple's families and close friends. The bride wore a white lace gown with a cowl veil covering hef head and shoulders. The newlyweds left immedi ately to honeymoon in New York and Florida. Ceremonies were conducted by the Rev. Frank Knaus at the Scottsdale Meth odist church. The 19-year-old bride has just completed a motion picture tit led"Kings Go Forth." Her maid of honor was actress Barbara Gould while the bridegroom's father was best mant. Fresh bread crumbs make a moist stuffing, day-old bread a medium-moist dressing and toast ed crumbs make a dry crunchy type. Miss Edna Gray and Miss Glenda Swanson. They wore nylon net frocks in pastel colors with matching bouquets of small yel low and white chrysanthemums. Little Debbie Bergren was flower girl and Michael Bevens, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer. Gary Kaiser served as best man for his brother while Neil Dusenberry and Monte Axtell, both Trail, seated the guests. Following the ceremony a re ception was held in the church parlor. Pink and white carna tions and ferns decorated the ta bles. Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Nell Goode, Prospect, and Mrs. Zella Tullis, grand mothers of the bride, Miss Suzie Chubb, Miss Frances Johnson and Miss Linda Eccleston. Following a wedding trip to the Oregon coast the couple will live at Shady Cove. The bride attended Prospect elementary school and Eagle Point High school.
