Grace and Prince Rainier ar rived in Paris from Monaco this morning en route to the United States for a two months visit. They sail September 7 on the liner United States for New York. Paris and London press reports said Miss Kelly had finished mov ies for good. The Prince and Princess, who expect an heir in February, are making their first trip to the United States since they were married last April 18. They re turn November 19 for Monaco's National day. They were cheered on the Monaco platform by a thousand Monegasques shouting "Vive le Prince et la Princess." Princess Grace, her blonde hair swept back, wore sun glas ses and a plain white linen hip length maternity jacket buttoned in front and belted in the back, a straight hanging roal blue skirt and a red and white silk scarf. She clung to Rainier's arm as they stepped from the train ,in Paris. He wore a blue blazer and grey flannel slacks. They smiled for photographers as they walked along the station platform but had almost noth ing to say to reporters. Grace told the United Press that she had no plans for making films but when pressed whether her acting career was over forever merely frowned prettily.- Student Leaves For California Philip Getchell has left Med ford fdr Pasadena, Calif., where he will enroll at Fuller Theolo gical school. " Almost every week we hear of a new reducing diet. Some times the diets are sensible, at tractive. . and well balanced. Generally they are not. A single food is sometimes suggested as a key to weight control. But people quickly tire of eating a diet that is monotonous or severely restricted. Nor do such poorly bananced diets help a per son to adjust his eating habits in a permanent or satisfying man ner. Guidance to good food habits is a basic feature of all sound reducing plans. "In such a basic plan, there should be no emphasis on any one nutrient or food. Only cal ories are restricted. And any regime promising calories un limited is an obvious fraud. "Some form of animal protein meat, eggs, milk, cheese, fish, or poultry plus a cereal food and fruit or vegetable should be served with each meal. This eliminates the one drink or capsule meal. "Fruits and vegetables should be well represented as a major source of minerals, vitamins, energy, and bulk, as well as variety and flavor. 'Though fats and oils are high in calorie content and should be kept in bounds, a moderate amount is beneficial. Fat is an essential nutrient and adds to our enjoyment of food. It has been observed that subjects on diets severely restricted in fat were not as successful in losing weight as those who ate one egg each day, meat twice daily, dairy products, with butter or mar garine for bread or vegetables, and some salad oil for fruit, vegetable, and' other salads. "Check these points with any reducing plan you are consider ing. Keep in mind that you ean enjoy good eating while reduc ing. Even - when calories are re stricted, a well balanced reduc ing diet will supply foods that have flavor, color, variety, and all the requirements for health and enjoyment of the consumer. If one wants to reduce faster, simply eat less at one or more meals and exercise more. Watch Princess Ensemble 9183.0-1?
