Chicago (U.R) A "teapot" worth S40.000 was introduced to representatives of the restaurant industry at their national con vention here. The idea for the giant tea brewing machine was born when an Elmo Roper survey of two years ago discovered that people who "eat out" drink tea half as often as they normally do at home. Reasons given for the lack of tea enthusiasts were that the beverage served commer cially wasrot good, and that tea is harder to make than other beverages. The new machine, developed by the Batelle Memorial Insti tute of Columbus, Ohio, elimi-! nates these difficulties by using I a concentrate which can be com- j bined with cold or hot water to make hot or iced tea of the cor-: rcct strength. The machine can serve eight glasses a minute to thirsty customers. " New "me' Chopped Beef.
