The plane's bursting rockets turned the place into an instant funeral pyre for 15 nuns, a Enest, a cook and the two-man crew of the CF-100. The explosion and screams of le nuns brought neighbors on the run who rescued 17 nuns. Her charges were dismissed by the judges with a few strong words. Our friends were com pletely understanding and sym pathetic, and my wife would have been treated virtually as a herpine if she had not felt hurt beyond all reason. She became self-conscious, crawled into her shell and took it for granted that people disliked her and were avoiding her, when the reverse was the truth. I felt entirely sympathetic to her at first, but she has given me a terribly hard time by insisting Meeting Urged To Push Mid-East Peace United Nations, N.Y. Sun Mountain Pass Road Open To Traffic Fort Klamath, Ore. (U.R) Sun Mountain Pass highway, the link between Fort Klamath and Highway 97, is open to two v ay traffic after being closed by snow through the winter. Reopening of the route short ened the distance from Fort Klamath to Highway 97 by 20 miles. It is the father who should do the explaining, revealing how much and unjustly their mother has suffered. This could bring all members of the family closer together and lift a burden of apprehension from the mind of the mother.' There is till another good rea son for taking the children into the confidence of the parents. Even if they have had no intima tion of the notoriety yet, there is always the danger that it will come to them at any moment, and in a very upsetting way. It is just not possible to keep such a widely distributed bit of gos sip a secret forever. Mr. P. (U.R) Charges that Mark Catlin Jr., speaker of the Wisconsin As sembly and a senatorial hopeful, peddled his influence among penitentiary convicts shook Wis consin politics yesterday. They immediately raised spec ulation on how Catlin's drive to win the Republican senatorial nomination from Sen. Alexand er Wiley will be affected. The charges were brought Wednesday by the Board of Bar commissioners. Catlin issued a categorical de nial of the charges and calling them "character assassination."
