York's Son Eyes Career in Air Force San Antonio, Tex; (UQ) The son of World War I hero Sgt Alvin York is stationed at Lack land Air Force Base and hopes to pursue a career in the Air Force . The son, 18-year-old Thomas Jefferson York, said he is con vinced a cajQr as an Air Froce cook allows plenty of opportu nity for advancement and plenty of time for learning a worth while occupation. The York home is on a farm near Wolf River, Tenn. There the son used to go hunting with his famous father, a renowned rifleman even before he began his World War I military service. "I'm a pretty good shot, too," young York said, "but not as good as my father." The only son in the York fam ily said he preferred a shotgun to a rifle on hunting trips. The elder York became ill two years ago and is confined to a wheel chair. He was called the nation's No. 1 soldier in World War I after he killed 25 Germans and captured 132 in the Argonne Forest. Young York has been assigned to Flight 168 of the 3704th Basic Military Training Squadron. He was sworn in by Tennessee Gov. Frank Clement and flew here in a commercial airliner. Women Make Decisions I ran down Eva at a television rehearsal -and she agreed, "Why wait until the man asks you? And if he. says no, wear him down." But first, they both believe, "You have to get the guy in love with you." Zsa Zsa is regarded a sensual female, but her rule is forget sex appeal and concentrate on the mind. "It's very important to be in tellectual," she said. "All this sex business What a man wants is companionship in marriage. A woman makes a terrible mistake if sb uses sex to get a man." A female should also "know how to do things such as cooking," Zsa Zsa believes. Zsa Zsa Tells Skills 0 "I even can fix th'e electricity in my house," she beamed. "I can carpenter. I am a handy man. The more you know, the better it is." Both agree another mistake a girl can make is to try to make a man jealous or to play hard to get. '"Be honest," lectured . Eva. "Don't play hard to get. If I see a guy I like, I tell him right out. In fact, I may do that this year and get married!" Zsa Zsa's advice: "A woman never should try to make a man jealous by flirting with other guys. Men are afraid the woman will be fickle." That's how to get a man.
