His wife lives at Berkeley, Calif. PROMOTED . ' Richard T. Hanson, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur G. Hanson, 863 Marshall ave., recently was promoted to corporal while serv ing with the Army 25th infan try division at Hawaii. He is an aidmen in the medical detach ment -of the division artillery and he entered the Army in Feb ruary, 1953. He arrived overseas in September of that year. His division, known as the "Tropic Lightning", division, recently re turned to Hawaii from Korea and is continuing a vigorous post - truce training program which began after the cease fire. Two Damage Suite Filed in Court " Two separate damage r suits, each seeking $13,000 in general damages, were filed this week in circuit court. . -. One complaint was filed by Marie Clark against Glen W. and Louise Hunsaker. An auto mobile accident, Oct." 23 near the intersection of Antelope rd. and Highway 62, is involved. The complaint alleged v the plaintiff suffered neck injuries and was disabled as a result of the accident. Besides the general damages, the plaintiff is asking for $286.44 in special damages. In the other case, Greta Hol lowell is the plaintiff and Lloyd Thomas Nelson and O. A." Selby are defendants. The suit alleges that Nelson was operating Sel r by's car at the time of. the acci-" dent, and that the plaintiff was a passenger in a car operated by-' Charles Hollowell on Nov. 18,' 1953, on McAndrews rd., and . that the plaintiff received per manent partial disability as a result of the incident.
