Central Point Home ; Damaged by Blaze Central Point The Central Point Volunteer Fire depart ment responded to a fire in the ceiling and attic of a residence at 2401 North First st. in Cen tral Point yesterday afternoon, according to Chief Or an Chas- tain. Damage was estimated at not less than $200. The fire was ap parently caused by a faulty flue, he added, and extended to the attic and ceiling of the small house. They went there about a week ago when ' they had news of the unexpected illness of Mrs. Throp's mother, Mrs. Myrtle Harmon, who died Thursday. To Hawaii ; Mr. and Mrs. George Lewis of the Rogue Travel service are to leave this evening by United Air lines for Portland en route to Honolulu, Hawaii.
