" The two properties are inter city bus lines now operated Joint ly under the name of Overland Greyhound Lines. The purchase would be subject to approval by the Interstate Commerce Com mission. Greyhound Owns Stock , Umon Pacific owns 51 per cent of Interstate Transit and 66 23 per cent of Union Pacific Stages. Since 1943, Greyhound has owned 33 13 per cent of the stock of both companies. The balance has been held by the Chicago and Northwestern railway. Negotiations Conducted Greyhound said negotiations for purchase of the Northwest ern's interest are being conduct ed, and are expected to be ter minated successfully within a few days. , - ' ' -Interstate Transit operates be tween Chicago and Los Angeles via Omaha and Salt Lake City, with connections to other points.
