Medford will be gunning to sew up the conference mantle while Grants Pass, out of he running, nevertheless will be hot after a couple of triumphs that could add brilliant luster to an otherwise dismal league sea son. The games are here today and at Grants Pass Saturday at 8:15 pan. both days. To Go All-Out Reports from Grants Pass say that the Cavemen .have been battling the flu bug. Two Med ford setbacks this week would give the Big Four division laurels to Klamath. Of course , Ashland' may change the picture by upsetting Scoreboard Project Campaign Outlined Committee Chairman Bud Fisher has announced additional plans in the American Legion's project to provide the Medford high football stadium with an electrically operated scoreboard as a memorial to the late A. Z. (Tubby) Dean. The plan is to sell shares in the memorial at $1 each, Fisher said. Goal of the shares cam paign is now 1,800. Letters have gone out to mer chants of Jackson county. The club kept its unbeaten record yesterday by lacing Washington 36 to 21 as Jay Howard scored 18 points. Jack son and Roosevelt, now in sec ond spot, clash the tussle next week. It will be Jackson final game. Roosevelt with two games yet to go has five wins and one loss. Jackson had only a 10 to 15 edge at halftime yesterday and led at the third quarter 30 to 21.
