Victory; Tonight Medford Ragua and Bono SiWcrtox will conclude, their current Far Will Baiebt.ll league series with single game at the local fairgrounds park tonight at 7:45. Medford goes to Eugene Monday to open a three-game series and returns here Thursday. By Hank Green Medford Rogues changed the complexion of their game a bit last Friday night and instead of outting on a last-minute blast to win, took it a bit easy to post a 1 to 4 victory over Reno out at the fairgrounds park before ibout 700 fans. The local Club did score most of its runs in one inning but this time it was the third instead of the eighth or ninth as it had been recently. Hueners Hard to Hit Carl Hueners on the mound for Medford allowed but seven hits but wildness kept him in trouble during much of the game. When his control was right he was tough to hit. Jack Cooney started off that Medford third stanza by lining a double down the right field line. John Popovich walked, Bob Haddock singled to left, Don Wil liams reached on a fielder's choice. Al Bolen singled to left and Bill Adams flied deep to right field. There were also three errors mixed into the fracas. Adams Blasts Homer Adams also helped out the lo cal cause by blasting a homerun over the Desoto sign about 20 feet inside the right field foul line wit, no one aboard in the second, Tony Filippo, hard-hitting Re no centerfielder, was thumbed out of the game in the second in ning tor protesting too long a de cision at second base, Singles by Popovich and Bo len and double by Haddock gave the local club one run in the sixth and in the seventh Stuart's single, an error and Popovich's one-baser tallied another. Wil liams doubled and after Bolen sacrificed Adams reached on an iror for one run in the eighth inning, Reno AB PO 4 4 0 0 Zaccarelll If ....5 Palmisano 3b ..0 Filippo cf 1 Hlllera If . 3 Borich c 4 Diercks lb Aklns rf -...2 Ramsey 2b Pyne If, cf 5 Monahan p 1 Trestler 1 Carlson p 0 Jones 1 31 4 7 24 11 Grounded out for Monahan in 7th Reached fielder's choice for Carlson In Sth.
