McKenzie Jr., at a ceremony held Saturday, April 22 at 8 p.m. in the First Presbyterian church. About 12S guests were present for the ceremony and reception.' The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Conley, 1270 Orchard Home drive, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Wesley A. McKenzie Sr., Eagle Point. For the service, read by the Rev. Holly Roy Jarvis, the bride wore a gown of satin, lace-trimmed, and her finger-tip veil fell from a tiara of seed pearls and rhlnestones. Wesley A. McKemie ley gave his daughter in murriage. Mrs. Kershaw Miller, sister of the bride, was matron-of-honor. Her gown was of aquamarine colored satin and she carried a colonial bouquet of white iris and pastel colored sweetpcas. Bridesmaids were Miss Vera Conley and Miss MitUic McKen zie. Their gowns were of pink satin and they carried colonial bouquets of blue iris and pastel sweet peas. Their headdresses were also of sweetpcas. Flower girl was little Dionna Meyers, niece of the bridegroom, and Jimmy McKenzie was ring bearer. Dianna wore a frock of yellow satin and carried a col onial bouquet of yellow iris and white sweet peas with white sweet pea headdress. Allen Conley and Gerald Mc Kenzie lighted the candles. The bride's mother wore an orchid colored dress with cor sage of lavender orchids, and the bridegroom's mother wore a tan suit with orchid corsage. Mark McKenzie was best man for his brother and ushers were Kershaw Miller and John Free man, the latter of Tiller. Menno Bachmnnn was soloist, with Mrs. Henry Hucncrgnrdl accompany ing. The reception was in the church parlor. Mrs. Frank Mey ers cut the wedding cuke, assist ed by Mrs. Don Miller, and Miss Stinson poured. Bnskets of appie blossoms, bridal wreath anil Japanese quince formed a floral setting for the wedding party in the church and (or the reception the bride's table was centered with an arrangement of pastel daisies and tulips. Sunday, April 30. 19S0 Many Parties Given For Mrs. Grant Todd; Couple To Leave City Mrs. Grant Todd, who is leav ing Medford to make her home in Reedsport, Ore., was Tion orcd at a number ot farewell parties last week. Mrs. Todd was honored Tues day afternoon at a party and handkerchief shower given by Mrs. Wallace Brill at her home on Lozier lane. Twenty-eight members of Adarel Social club, to which Mrs. Todd belongs, were guests. Thursday afternoon Mrs. Frank Rout was hostess for a party at her home. 601 Park Place No. 5, which honored Mrs. Todd. Dessert was served from a table centered with spring flowers, and Mrs. Todd was pre sented a gift from the 12 guests. All the guests are members of Adarel Past Matrons' club. Mrs. W. L. Greenleaf was hostess Friday afternoon for a luncheon and card party in Mrs. Todd's honor. The guests were served luncheon at Omar's near Ashland, and then returned to Mrs. Greenleaf's home. 103 South Holly street, for canasta. Guests were Mrs. Tom Young, Mrs. Susan Campbell, Mrs. George Jackson, Mrs. Minnie Ball and Mrs. Todd. Thursday night Mr. and Mrs. Milton Winn entertained at a dinner for the Todds, the event being at their home, 1004 East Jackson street. In Reedsport Mr. Todd will take over a marine distributing station for Standard OH com' pany, and will also operate a small store which handles nsn ing and boating supplies and equipment. He has been main tenance superintendent for this district for Standard Oil for the past 16 years. The Todds are well known In the city's fraternal circles. Mrs. Todd is a past matron of Adarel chapter, OES, Jacksonville, and Mr. Todd is a member of the grand budget committee of East ern Star for Oregon and Is also president of the newly organized Southern Oregon Association of Eastern Star. Miss Deborah Tremblay To Leave City Monday; Farewell Parties Given Various groups of the First Presbyterian church have enter tained through the week honor ing Miss Deborah Tremblay who has served as director of young people in Christian education in the church for the past five years. Miss Tremblay will leave Monday for San Jose, Cal., where she will take up duties there in directing Christian ed ucation throughout the church groups as well as do youth work. For the first three yeari here, Miss Tremblay served as sec retary and director of the youth education work combined. She came here from Minnesota where she had done similar They also presented Miss Trenv held in her honor. Tuesday evening Sunday school teachers of the church en tertained at a surprise farewell party for Miss Tremblay, fol lowing their regular meeting in the church. They presented her with a gift. John Brewer To Sing In Annual Festival Of Portland College Portland Among student musicians to perform in the an nual spring festival of music to be sponsored May 1 by the music department of Lewis and Clark college at the Portland civic audtorium will be John Brewer from Medford. The program will be given jointly by five vocal and instru mental organizations, the sym phonic band, the choir, the sym phony orchestra, the men's glee club and madrigal singers. Young Brewer will perform as second tenor in the quartet, sec ond tenor glee club and second tenor in the choir. He is also student director of the glee club. Each group will present indi dual numbers and for the finale all 200 musicians will appear in an ensemble arrangement of "A Festival Prelude" from Wagner's Die Meistersinger ' under direc tion of Dr. John Stark Evans, head of the music department. John Brewer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Brewer, 307 Laur el street. He is a senior majoring in music and recently has beet named executive secretary oi Lewis and Clark College Alumni association. Lady Elks Lady Elks will meet Tuesday.
