Jean Hart's Diary May 1, 1950 If I were on a budget and was forced to select one good-looking outfit to meet my summer needs I think I would choose a summer suit. First, because they are styled to meet any situation. Sleek smooth lines hand some tailoring with buttons and fashion detail to charm the birds right out of the trees. Second, because the col ors can meet my mood. Black, fawn, cream, for sofis tication white, aqua, gold, for a refreshing lift cherry and emerald for a strong color note to offset my more fragile summer wardrobe. ,. Third, because the materi als with their new proces sing are so satisfactory for warm weather. Tropic-cloth, Moygathel (imported) linen, Butcher linen and Faille. The prices too, are pleas- ing to the eye $18.95 to $39.95. Add a crisp sum mer blouse, a straw purse and I step into the Hart of fashion having met my budg et . Q.E.D.
