Mrs. Bennett Austin will be co-hostess. "Open the Door" will be sub ject of a talk by Mrs. W. T. Frost concerning the internation al Christian university of Japan. All members are requested to take articles for the layette pro ject so it may be prepared for shipment this month. Study Club Receives Ashland Invitation Ashland Study club has ex tended an invitation to Wednes day Study club of Medford to attend a meeting of the Ashland group May 1, Monday, at the Episcopal parish house in Ash land. The event is set for 1:15 p.m. Mrs. F. J. Newman, president of the Medford club, asks mem bers of the Medford group to meet at the Girls Community club at 12:15 p.m. from where transportation will be furnished for those wishing to attend. Ruch-Sierling PTA Announces Meeting Ruch All parents, patrons and children of the Consolidated School District No. 3 are invited to attend the parent-teacher as sociation meeting to be held May 5. The meeting will be held in the Upper Applegate Grange hall at 8 p. m. Those from Watkins, Union Town, Little Applegate and For est Creek schools are especially invited to attend and meet Henry Kamman, principal of District No. 3. Miss Branson, who conducts the Katherine Branson School for Girls at Ross, was a. house guest of Mrs. Sparrow during the week. East Main street after a motor j vacation trip of three weeks.
