This information was con tained in a telegram froml Wil liam W- Bradford, Los Angeles, executive vice president of the Southern Califorr i i Restaurant association. Sen. Kenneth S. Wherry, R., Neb-, read the telegram at a Senate Small Business subcom mittee inquiry into the results of the recent 20 per cent reduc tion in red points for restaurants. Mrs. Catherine Guyon, a com mittee investigator who has Just returned from a special trip to Grand Island, Neb., and Olym- pia, Wash., told the group that restaurants in these two cities likewise may have to close down for lack of red points. "In Grand Island," she said, "Food isn't the problem it's red points. There is no scarcity of meat. One restaurant owner said he could literally reach over the fence and get everything he wanted but he wanted to do it legally." 4 Medford Girls Called by WAVES Seattle, July 30 Elizabeth Lee Buckingham. 236 S.
