"I didn't know, I didn't ex pect this," Quisling, clinching his jaws and pulling his hat down as he watched a crew of gravediggers exhume the bodies of more than 100 Norwegian, slain by the Gestapo. Once Quisling tried to turn away, but a guard prodded him with a tommygun and made him turn back to the scene. Quisling was taken to seven mass graves where 90 bodies have been recovered. There are eight more graves not yet opened. As Quisling was leaving the scene he said to one of his guard, in a low voice: "This is very seriou, for our relations with Germany." , The remark appeared to add to evidence that Quisling no longer is in full possession of his senses.
