general election, according to
county registration figures just
compiled by Secretary of State
Robert S. Farrcll.
Total registrations today stand
at 560,536 compared to 602,013
last fall.
The Republican lists show a
loss of 19.071 from 302,805 last
fall to 283,734 of today.
The Democrats lost 20,482
registered voters, their list drop
ping from a total ot 284,816 last
fall to 264,334 today.
Today's registration totals in
clude 2,672 independents, 366
socialists, 478 prohibitionists,
and 8,952 listed as "all others."

Quisling has been forced by nil
armed guards to view the mas,
graves at Trandum where Nor
wegian political prisoners were
put to death under his regime.
He was taken secretly from
his cell In the Moellergaten.
prison, It was revealed today,
and driven in a police car to th
scene of the Nazi atrocities
which he swore he did not even
know existed.
"I didn't know, I didn't ex
pect this," Quisling, clinching
his jaws and pulling his hat
down as he watched a crew of
gravediggers exhume the bodies
of more than 100 Norwegian,
slain by the Gestapo.
Once Quisling tried to turn
away, but a guard prodded him
with a tommygun and made him
turn back to the scene.
Quisling was taken to seven
mass graves where 90 bodies
have been recovered. There are
eight more graves not yet
opened.
As Quisling was leaving the
scene he said to one of his guard,
in a low voice: "This is very
seriou, for our relations with
Germany." ,
The remark appeared to add
to evidence that Quisling no
longer is in full possession of his
senses.
