BIX MEDFORD MAIL TRIBUNE Your Health and It's Care By OR. WILLIAM BRADY M.D. Readari ihould addraia Inquiries toi Or William Brady. 26 El Camino. Bavarly Hllli. Calif. SWEETS AND Here again, If I may be to bold, I beg to state my theory or belief that our excessive con- i u m p t ion of r e 1 1 n ed car bohydrates and the consequent vitamin B de ficiency f rom which most of us Americans auffer, ha much to do with the prev alence of over weight and diabetes. Brady The remedy I prescribe will. I am confident, command the approval of both Dr. Williams and Dr. Jollffe. It is very simple. Use whole wheat instead of refined white flour; - and old-fashioned molasses and crude brown sugar instead of "pure" syrup and refined white sugar. You will probably not take my medicine but even if you make an earnest effort to do so you will immediately run up against almost insuperable dif ficulties. Why, a good many peo nle do not even know how to go about buying a few pounds of wheat. Many more haven t the slightest notion of how to use it if they manage to get some. For these poor geeks I have a pam- Dhlet tiUed WHEAT TO EAT which gives practical suggestions for the use of wheat in the every day dietary for copy send a stamped envelope bearing your address, but do not send a cup ping of this item. A large milling company tells me that although the company has been producing whole wheat flour (from which nothing Is re moved in the milling) for years the product has only a limited market. In the first place, it does not keep well enough for long storage or for shipment far from the mills. In the second place, only a few people want such flour. My answer is that probably few people in the com pany's market area have ever heard of the product, and more over it is only within the past few years that we have come to realize the vital need of unre fined, undenaturlzed wheat in the everyday diet, - As for restoring old-fashioned crude broign sugar and old-fashioned molasses, which were the excellent foods our ancestors used prior to 1840. These are made in the old-fashioned way in the open kettle and without ADMINISTRATOR'S FINAL NOTICE Notice Is hereby given that the undersigned administrator has filed in the County Court of Oregon for Jackson County his final account in the matter of the Estate of Silvia E. A good many people with that craving for excessive amounts of carbohydrates have discovered that when they get an adequate daily ration of vitamin B com plex they feel satisfied with con siderably less carbohydrate and it becomes easier to keep weight down. They feel their oats I mean they get the strength of their food, 'too, and feel more like playing the game or doing their work because they do not tire so quickly.
