Of Rebekah Club Mary Cave was installed presl dent of the Past Noble Grands club of Olive Rebekah lodge at meeting held last week at the Girls' Community club. Ina Huson was installed vlce-prest dent and Florence Klatt, secre tary and treasurer. A candlelight installation service waa staged by the committee in charge. The retiring president, Iva Walden, was presented with a past president's pin and during the evening revelation of Sister Olives was held. Next meeting will be Initia tion, new members to be Maud Daugherty, Myrtle Newton, Elva Biden, Minnie Edelmeth and Bessie Fredenberg. Also many friends of the chap ter members were in attendance. Hattie Thompson Installed Head Of Relief Corps Central Point William H. Harrison Women's Relief corps No. 27 of Central Point held the annual public dinner and instal lation of 1945 officers January 6. Newly installed president of the corps Is Hattie Thompson while Martha Booth is the retir ing president. Eva Smith acted as installing officer. Mrs. Booth was presented with a gift. It is planned that the corps will continue to make blood plasma contributions its main project for the new year. The corps meets again Jan. 20. Gilbert, accompanied by W. T. Frost, hydraulic engi neer for the soil conservation service, and Robert Gober of Klamath Falls made a ski trip to Crater Lake last week to measure the depth of snow ar.d water content on the snow courses ' and to secure reading on the discharge from Annie Spring. . At Annie Spring the snow depth was 41,2 inches with a water content of 13.2 Inches, or 32. The'. ground was very mushy. At Park Headquarters the snow was 47.1 Inches with a water content of 14.7 inches, and the ground was very wet Last year on January 26, ac cording to figures given by Park Superintendent E. P. Leavitt, the snow depth was 35 inches with a water content .of 10 inches. However, ' in 1943, on January 27, the snow depth at Annie Spring was 114 iriches with a water content of 40 inches.
