Instead, she stumped all over the country urging Americans to vote for a fourth term for President Roosevelt. Central Pt. School To Have Carnival Tomorrow Evening Central Point, Nov. 9 Cen tral Point High school will pre sent its annual school carnival in the high school gymnasium tomorrow night, November 10. The carnival is sponsored by the Order of the C, the high school letterman club. The high light of the evening will be the crowning of the carnival queen, who will be chosen from the four candidates by votes derived from previously sold tickets. There will be the usual con cessions, soft drinks, pop corn and hot dogs. The high school band will present a program of music. Festivities will begin at 7:30 and the crowning of the queen will be at approximately 9 o'clock. The admission charge will be 10 cents and the publico is in vited to attend. MAGNUSON IS ELECTED WASHINGTON SENATOR Seattle, Nov. 9 (U.R) Dem ocratic Rep. Warren G. Magnu son was Washington State's new senator-elect today after defeat ing Lt. Col. Harry P. Cain for the U. S. cenate seat of Sen, Homer T. Bone, appointed last spring to the ninth U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals at San Fran cisco.
