Foolproof Cough Medicine is strictly home made medicine, and I'd prefer It myself If I had crl accompanied with cough which called for a remedy. Chief ingredient is citrate of soda. To prepare the cough medi cine you use the following ma terials: (1) Water. (2) Oh-ohl I discovered only yesterday that this is out, too no glycerin with out prescription, I learned, so for the present we'll have to use molasses, honey, table syrup, sorghum syrup or maple syrup Instead of glycerin. (3) A lemon. (4) Flaxseed not meal, the un ground seeds. (5) Citrate of soda, white crystalline powder. (6) Es sence, extract or oil of pepper mint, or other aromatic flavor as DA FOR COUGH preferred. Now, then, folks, I shall not be responsible for any typogra phical errors, but if you warn lo take a chance the printers are not holding out, or contributing anything of their own to the recipe, here's how it cooks: Steep for 20 to 30 minutes a heaping tcaspoonful of whole flaxseed In a pint of water. Dis solve in this flaxseed tea one ounce (two rounded tablespoons ful) of citrate of soda,, two ta blespoonsful of glycerin or any of the substitutes above men tioned, add the Juice of one lem on, finally three or four drops of peppermint or whatever aro matic flavor you prefer, and strain through a piece of muslin. There you are, all set to soothe, ease, relieve and help cough due to any respiratory tract trouble, in Infant, child or adult, and the medicine can do no serious harm in any circum stance. Dose for infant or young child, tcaspoonful every two hours for a day or two. For old er child or adult, tablespoonful every hour or every two hours for a dpy or two. No particular harm in continuing the medicine longer than a day or two if you wish, but generally it works most effectively in the first day or two. During the business meeting Benton Boyce told about some of the resolutions up before the State Grange. Plans for the covered dish dinner to be held Saturday, June 24, at 7:30 p. m. at Grange hall were discussed. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish and his own table service.
